I'm pleased to announce that ZitaFTP Server has the first part of the planned GUI. It was supposed to be released before Christmas, but my first child decided to arrive early, and all schedules went out the window. So, I missed Christmas. It's now done, so this is the Epiphany update.

What's New

The biggest change is the new docky, which shows status information, and has a popup menu that makes editing the configuration, restarting the server, and server shutdown easy. No more sending Ctrl+C to the server to shut it down.

This also means that ZitaFTP Server finally has a proper icon, instead of the generic tool symbol it originally shipped with. There are a few other changes and fixes, which you'll find in the release notes.

Epiphany Update Special

It's too late for Christmas, but January 6 is the post-Christmas feast of the Epiphany, which marks the arrival of the 3 wise men from the East, and their gifts of gold, frankinsense & myrrh for baby Jesus. I do not claim to be wise, but do come bearing a gift: you can get the new improved ZitaFTP Server for it's original release price (15% off the standard price).

This special offer will be available until two weeks after the feast of the Epiphany (Monday, January 20, 2020).

Click here to download ZitaFTP Server, and take advantage of the offer.
