I’m excited. The proof copy of The CMake Tutorial printed book arrived yesterday (see above). And, I think it’s looking great. The text inside is clear, and I’m happy with the layout.
I do think that the cover would pop more if it were glossy rather than matte. But, ordering a new proof with glossy cover would just delay things further, and I want to get this into your hands ASAP.
The CMake Tutorial has been available as a digital download for months. This is for anyone who prefers the look and smell of ink on paper. Those who prefer something you can hold in your hands.
It should be available some time next week. I wish I could get it into the online store today. however, I have to manually set up shipping zones, because Lulu don’t provide live shipping rates on WooCommerce. I also do need to look through the entire book in detail, to make sure that everything is good.
This tutorial takes you from zero, through to everything you need to build large scale software projects using CMake.

That’s it for now. See you next week when you can finally get your hands on this.
