Amiga was "the computer for the creative mind..." We used to create awesome stuff on the Amiga, from music to graphics and beyond. It was used in TV and movie production, and even in the NASA space program.

Commodore, We Have a Problem...

It's still possible to be creative with the Amiga today, but things have been lagging behind. AmigaOS programming documentation is rather dated, as are the tools we use. There are gaps in the documentation, out-of-date examples, and outdated APIs.

Figuring out how to write software for the Amiga can be frustrating and painful, leading to people giving up. That's a shame, because there's so much opportunity on the Amiga to create cool software (and stuff in general).

Support the Creation of More Amiga Content & Software

This is why I created Kea Campus' Amiga Corner. Because I want to see the Amiga grow again. No, this isn't for just developers (although I was so focused on developers at launch that I forgot to give the full vision and deeper why). Keep reading, and I'll explain...

How the Kea Campus Amiga Corner Helps

Campus member subscriptions help fund the creation of how-to videos & content, as well as more Amiga software.

As a reward, campus members get to see everything first (up to a week before everyone else), get downloadable code templates, exclusive content, and more bonuses are planned.- After all, they're the ones who make this possible.

Up to a week later the videos go public, making them available to all. This maximizes the number of people who could benefit from them which, all going well, will result in more Amiga software being written, further down the line...

All of this draws from my decades worth of experience writing various software from graphics drivers, to video players, and even an FTP server.

Your Help is Needed

Sounds great? Here's how you can help:

  • First up, subscribe to the Amiga Corner YouTube channel
  • Next, join the Kea Campus, and tell us that you're an Amiga fan your introductory post. That way we'll know that you're one of us, and that you want to see the Amiga corner grow

You'll get access to everything that the Kea Campus has to offer:

  • The how-to videos
  • Exclusive content
  • The templates and downloads (creator tier and above)
  • Discussions in the private forums and community
  • And as yet unannounced bonuses too

And you'll feel great knowing that you're helping to make Amiga software development easier.

The Amiga was the "computer for the creative mind." It still is, but let's help people climb the learning curve faster, so that they can spend more time creating, and less time pulling their hair out.
